CR contributing writer Sue Rochman has been recognized by the prestigious Awards for Excellence in Health Care Journalism, which are presented annually by the Association of Health Care Journalists.
Rochman won a second place award for Reality Check, a feature story in the Spring 2007 issue of CR. Rochman's award-winning entry investigates the challenges and controversies surrounding cancer screening tests. Through intensive reporting and nuanced writing, Rochman explores which tests have been proven to save lives, which tests might hurt more than they help, and how we know the difference.
