CR, the magazine about people and progress in cancer, received a nomination for the 2007 Independent Press Award for general excellence in health and wellness coverage. The Independent Press Awards are given out by the Utne Reader to honor the very best in independent media.
CR was one of eight nominees in the Health/Wellness Coverage category, and one of 111 standout publications to make it to the final round of the awards process.
