Becoming an Agent of Change

A young advocate talks about how to get involved in fundraising

When 12-year-old Austin Gaines' mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, he created the Joan G. Gaines Breast Cancer Fund and began raising money for cancer research. Now, 10 years later, the 22-year-old is a seasoned fundraiser and patient advocate. In the latest CR podcast, Gaines talks to correspondent Kevin Begos about how to become involved as a fundraiser or volunteer.
