When it comes to cancer's impact, it's a family affair

Filmmaker Julia Reichert has a complex understanding of how cancer can impact a family. The mother of a teenager treated for Hodgkin lymphoma, Reichert spent nearly a decade following five other families as they dealt with pediatric cancer for her documentary A Lion in the House. Just as she finished the film, Reichert received her own diagnosis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
