Non-smokers who follow cancer prevention guidelines lower their risk of death

Avoiding tobacco is key to lowering a person's risk of dying of cancer. But adhering to other cancer prevention guidelines—such as maintaining a healthy weight, eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly—can also reduce one's risk of death, according to new research.
