Every Sunday, Elizabeth Cropper welcomes congregants to Ezekiel Baptist Church with a smile and a kind word. She specializes in putting people at ease and putting the feelings of others first. But when Cropper was diagnosed with bladder cancer, she was dismayed by how little some doctors considered her feelings.
